SOUND COMPOSITION- EXHIBITION
HVALSLAG, Vienna
Andervel+ Rawlings’ “Hvalslag” to be premiered in Vienna. Hvalslag is a contemporary sound piece for the exhibition “Chewing the tundra” at Kunsthalle Exnergasse- WUK, in Vienna.

SONOSPHERE- NATIONAL ARTS CENTRE, CANADA
Andervel has been commissioned to compose and design the sound for Sonosphere, a macro-video art created in collaboration with cinematographer Patrik Ontkovic and directed by multidisciplinary artist a Rawlings for NACO’s SPHERE Festival and the Kipnes Lantern.
Premiere: 22 September 2022, National Arts Centre (Canada) Kipnes Lantern.

GLOBAL MUSIC MATCH (Official Selection)
Andervel has been chosen to represent Iceland in the Global Music Match, chapter 2022.
GMM is a global initiative in which 60+ artists are selected from all over the world, by the music export organisations, to work together with the aim of bridging the distance between nations and create a supporting international network.
Very excited to be playing at the folk center in Siglufjörður, Iceland.
I will perform a program formed by a selection of my favourite Icelandic and Mexican folk songs as well as the Andervel essentials and more.
